I first came to SteadFast shortly after totaling my car while looking for an apartment in Savannah the summer of 2012. I babbled incoherently for a few minutes then drove off to find housing and nurse a concussion. At the time I was looking for a gym and SteadFast was in the right location while I had a job with a lot more traveling than I do now. I figured I wouldn’t be in Savannah for that long but here we are six years later and I can’t imagine going anywhere else. There’s an incredible sense of community at the gym and growing and changing along with the coaching staff and other members have been fantastic. Although I’ve shifted focus in my life over the last half dozen years I still feel like SteadFast is a home to come back to. I think that’s a real testament to the ability of the gym’s coaches to reach varying levels of fitness. There seems to be a certain level of intimidation with starting a fitness regimen like CrossFit and the staff at SteadFast make it possible for anyone interested to properly start. If you’re interested just drop by. As soon as you get over that first hurdle everything else will be a more enjoyable challenge.
