What was your goal when you originally signed up?

I originally signed up to do CrossFit with a group of friends back in Florida, in order to prepare for a Savage Race (which is similar to a Spartan Race). So, initially, my goal was to finish a 7-mile all-terrain obstacle course. It was a lofty goal considering how much I enjoy running, cardio, and more generally…moving.

How did you originally hear about us?

Simply put: Google. I moved to Savannah for work and wanted to continue doing CrossFit since I enjoyed the workouts, and the results I was seeing. SteadFast was in a good location and had a lot of positive reviews on both Google and Yelp.

What prompted you to seek us out?

Ah…the glory days of Barbell Club. I really wanted to continue to work on the major lifts, and SteadFast was the only gym in the area that offered classes with a specific focus on improving those lifts.

How do you feel about your future?

I feel positive about my future! I’m still seeing results, and doing some extra work on my own has only helped me get closer to the goals I have. It’s a slow process, but a process nonetheless.

What have you liked best about working with us?

The camaraderie is the first thing that comes to my mind. There’s generally such a good vibe at SteadFast! I enjoy being around the people in the workouts, and the close friendships that have formed over the years. Also, squatting, and besting Jason Lassiter.

What would you say to anyone else who might be interested in starting at SteadFast?

Just do it; come in for a class. It’s different, daunting, and difficult, but it will be worth it in the end. You will get healthier, be stronger, and have more confidence that will show up in your day-to-day life. SteadFast has some really talented coaches and a community that will accept and support you almost immediately.
