What was your goal when you originally signed up?
Initially, I was looking for a place to break out of the same old workout routine I had gotten into with just running and the occasional undisciplined gym time.
How did you originally hear about us?
I started working out at lunch with an employee benefits class at SCAD and our coach was also a coach at SteadFast (Eddie). I think he recognized how much I enjoyed the classes he led and thought I could step it up some more here at Steadfast.
What prompted you to seek us out?
Working out with Coach Eddie got me excited again to get back to a much higher fitness level and SteadFast was just a great fit for me. From the day I inquired about membership it felt like a family, from the owners down to the staff and members.
How do you feel about your future?
The future looks good! I am more excited about my fitness now than I have been in a long time, I have been pushing myself in other areas of my life and SteadFast and CrossFit help me stay balanced for that.
What have you liked best about working with us?
The community! This is a place where people from all walks of life, different fitness levels, and with different goals come together in a great environment just to get better and share a common experience.
What would you say to anyone else who might be interested in starting at SteadFast?
The first thing I’d say is that “this” IS for you. You don’t have to be an elite athlete, crazy CrossFitter, gym rat or fitness buff to fit in at SteadFast. Each class has members who are there for different reasons, some want to get stronger, lose inches, relieve stress, gain mobility, get faster, conquer a fear or just get away for that hour. Time and time again I hear stories of people who thought “they could never do that” when they first started and now they are crushing goals and doing things never thought possible.
