What was your goal when you originally signed up?
When I originally signed up with SteadFast, my goal was to take my fitness to the next level. I began getting really into my health and wellness the summer before my junior year of college. I joined a local gym in Athens where I would work out with one of my good friends after class. I started to see results that kept me consistent, but as I got into the latter parts of my senior year I began running through the motions and losing the drive to continue. I needed something to push me to the next level and keep me motivated. The competitiveness, friendships, and hospitality I have received from CrossFit Steadfast did just that.
How did you originally hear about us?
Actually, my sister got me a CrossFit subscription as a graduation present from UGA. I was literally in my cap n’ gown when she told me about it and handed me a Steadfast t-shirt. It’s funny though, I had always seen Crossfit athletes on TV and thought it was such a far-fetched and difficult sport to take on. There isn’t an experience level too low to do it, anybody can.
How do you feel about your future?
As for my future, CrossFit has helped me in more ways than I can imagine at this point. Just as it has benefited my physical fitness and well-being, it has also benefited my career and relationships. My hopes are to continue improvement in all areas and enjoy the ride along the way.
What have you liked best about working with us?
I’ve enjoyed how competitive yet hospitable this gym can be. Sabrina, Brian, and the coaches do an awesome job maintaining this unique community.
What would you say to anyone else who might be interested in starting at SteadFast?
Give it a go! Truth is, you will hit a point in the first week, month, or even a couple of months where you feel like this “might not be for you” and that couldn’t be further from true. Push through that point and you’ll be amazed where this journey can take you.
