Awesome facility (super cool, old school “real” CrossFit style). My coach, Bruce, was fantastic. His clear passion for CrossFit and coaching was evident. We did a very good, through warm up then a tough 20:00 AMRAP. He provided a ton of scaling options and was very patient with all of the drop in people. The members were also very welcoming and helpful. If you’re looking for a conveniently located, professional and fun box in Savannah, you’ve found it.

Just dropped in this morning. What a great place! The workout was tough, but Kaci prepped us well through both movement coaching and a thorough warm up. I’ve dropped into over 40 different boxes over the years, and this was one of the best. Solid coaching, great facility and a welcoming community of athletes. Hope to be back again!

All of my life I have been athletic. I have participated in a few beach lifeguard competitions a number of 5k’s, triathlons and even the MS 150. In high school I ran track, played lacrosse and swam. I even had the opportunity to swim on the D1 level but decided to coach age group children while obtaining my undergrad degree. After receiving my Masters in Education and finding that there weren’t many teaching opportunities available, I decided to go Active in the US Coast Guard. This is when I fell in love with CrossFit! With my coaching and athletic background CrossFit gave me the opportunity to put my passion to teach others to use. CrossFit has done so much for me that I wanted to share my experience with others. It made fitness fun again and I belong to a community of likeminded people! Opening CrossFit SteadFast has been a dream come true and I can’t wait to help build the CrossFit community in Savannah!

I have been CrossFitting since 2010 and have been coaching since 2011. I have been athletic my whole life. I played basketball and mixed in tennis, track, and cross-country in my off season. I always wanted to be a coach, but I never wanted to teach in a classroom environment. When I was twenty-seven years old CrossFit found me. Well, Brian actually introduced it to me, but I knew on day one I was hooked for life. I absolutely LOVE, love, love my “job” as a CF coach. Helping people change their lives is something amazing to be a part of. I am currently Level 1 certified and look forward to continuing my education as a coach.

My background was more academic than athletic. In school I played a few sports (not seriously) and did some downhill skiing. Due to a career overseas working in SCUBA diving and on yachts as a chef, I really didn’t have a lot of time for the gym and in my mid 30’s my health was starting to slide...

After doing some reading in 2011, I completely changed my diet to one made of real whole foods, and immediately, my health (and my husband’s), drastically improved. We noticed that our body composition got better and was easier to maintain. Despite my apprehension and fear that I wasn’t fit enough, we joined a CrossFit box in 2013 and began our fitness journey going whenever we were able.  I read a lot of books about ancestral health and decided to formalize my passion by going to school with the Nutrition Therapy Association to become a Nutrition Therapy Consultant, focusing on nutrition education and how food and lifestyle affect our health. In 2015 I came to Savannah for work and temporarily joined CrossFit SteadFast whilst working in the shipyard. The community and classes were great and Brian and Sabrina let me teach a series of nutrition and hydration seminars during that time for members! I loved it here so much I moved to Savannah permanently in 2016. I knew it was time to take the next step and share some of my passion for healthy living with others, so I trained and qualified as a Restart® Program Instructor, enabling me to teach and run sugar detox group classes.

I got my CF L1 so that I could further immerse myself in this world of health and fitness, and I can say that working with the members of SteadFast and supporting people in their own health journeys has been one of most rewarding things I have ever done. I am constantly working on my own fitness and health, and have in my 40’s, become fitter and healthier than I have been in my entire life. I believe that making small changes over time and working consistently both at the box and at home to improve sleep, food, community and stress will lead to greater well-being, less chronic illness and more vitality overall! I am looking forward to sharing my passion for food, health and movement with everyone and growing as a Health Coach and furthering my education.

Since as long as I can remember I have been involved in sports, and honestly cannot imagine a life without being active. My diverse athletic background and passion for fitness is not only a key component of my identity, but also something I love to share with others.

I was born and raised in Georgia. I started gymnastics at the age of three and was a competitive gymnast for over 16 years. As a level 10 gymnast, I was both state and regionally ranked and competed at nationals in the junior Olympics. In college I hung up my grips and was a pole vaulter, long jumper and  sprinter all four years, graduating with a BS in Psychology. Currently, I am a Helicopter Pilot stationed at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, Ga.  Outside of the Army, I am a CrossFit Level 2, Gymnastics, and U.S. Weightlifting Coach. I have been competing and coaching CrossFit since 2012 and find great joy in coaching and helping others reach their goals. Being able to inspire someone to step outside his or her comfort zone and overcome mental blocks to achieve a skill they have never done before is incredibly inspiring.

I've always enjoyed being active and outdoors. I started sports at a young age and played through high school, mainly tennis, lacrosse, and soccer. Once I went to college at Penn State, I focused my attention on my academics and wasn't as active as I wanted to be. After I graduated and entered the corporate world, I needed to find something new that would reignite my passion for sports and fitness. Solo running and doing P90X in my living room wasn't cutting it. I kept hearing about this new workout regimen called CrossFit. It sounded super intimidating when I heard comments like "you're pretty much joining a cult". After a couple months of talking my husband into trying it out with me so it wouldn't be as scary, in 2014 we finally worked up the courage to walk through the door. We were instantly hooked and realized we made the best decision. The community of like-minded individuals pushing you to be the best you can be everyday was nothing like we had experienced before. It was such a great feeling to rediscover myself as an athlete and push myself harder every single day. I was amazed at how CrossFit completely changed my outlook on fitness and my own capabilities. I wanted to share it with as many people as possible.

Fast forward to the summer of 2015, I got my CrossFit Level 1 Certification with the goal of becoming a coach. I wanted to share the impact that CrossFit had on my life with as many people as possible. I started coaching in 2016. I love knowing that during every class I am sharing the experience of other people's CrossFit journey and helping them to achieve things they never realized they were capable of. I am excited to continue learning and developing as a coach.

I was cut from the soccer team and ran JV track in HighSchool – and that was my athletic background. I spent some time as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor before I turned the Army into a career. Swimming and teaching were the first things I found I was good at. My Army life has been wrapped in doing all of the things that are hard on your body, so I spent most of my time either getting in shape for a new challenge or recovering from one. I’ve been in the Bench 300 and run 6:30 Mile shape. I have also been in the, cannot run a Mile and gained 30-40lbs - out of shape. I was in that phase of my life when a co-worker introduced me to this CrossFit thing.

2013 I joined SteadFast, returned to “good shape”, but focused more on running than total fitness. In 2013 I ran a Marathon. Fueled by that passion I began training and using CrossFit as a supplement to my Ultra-Marathon Training. In 2014 I completed a 50km Trail Race in the hills of North Carolina (over 10,000ft of elevation change in 31~ish Miles). After the race I dove into CrossFit and received my CF-L1 Training and began coaching the guys at work and on various deployments.

2014 I was in a motorcycle accident that took me out of being physically active for over a year. Broken hand and wrist and some neuro issues, I got dark, gained over 40lbs, and left SteadFast. Sabrina reached out and highly encouraged me to get back in. Since 2015 I have been steady – using the resources for diet and nutrition, these incredible coaches to refocus my intent and goals.

I have wanted to become a coach and share this journey with everyone for years! I’ve seen lows – highs- PR’s – failure and injury …but I was never alone and that is what drew me to this SteadFast Family. I love to teach, coach, and look forward to learning and growing with everyone here.

I started CrossFit five years ago during my senior year of college. I spent most of my time prior to that bouncing around from free weights, to machines, to running. At the time I think I was looking for CrossFit before I knew what it was.

I began coaching at CrossFit SteadFast in the Fall of 2013. From the moment I walked through the doors I felt more at home than in any place I’d ever been in. In my time here I became the Lead Trainer, programmed the WODS, and played an instrumental role in opening a second location.

In the Fall of 2016 I left to pursue other things. I put all of my energy into CrossFit, and I owed it to myself to see what else was out there.

After two years of corporate life working a 9-5, I found that at every turn- CrossFit was on my mind. It was all I could think about, read about, and talk about. It took me leaving to see that CrossFit was truly my passion.

I love working with athletes of every degree. Whether it’s coaching an athlete through their first pull-up, or hundredth Muscle-up. CrossFit changed my life in so many different ways, I’d love to share my experiences with you!

Hello! My name is Trent Collette, certified trainer at Crossfit Steadfast.  My goal as a trainer is to motivate members to lead healthy, active lifestyles and achieve goals they never thought were attainable.  Crossfit is an extremely emotional part of my life because I have the opportunity to watch people grow mentally and physically everyday.  This paired with the crossfit community creates an atmosphere that cannot be replicated and make me love every second of my job.

Growing up in the small town of Henderson, Louisiana my days were mostly spent outside enjoying the “Sportsman’s Paradise” that the state is known for.  I’ve been involved in team and individual sports for as long as I could remember which carried over to High School where played football and competed on our skeet shooting team.  I obtained my Bachelors in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and have been a Registered Dietitian licensed in Louisiana since 2015. While in undergrad, I was able to coach for 3 years at Ragin Crossfit in Lafayette, Louisiana.  At that point in my life I chose to enlist in the United States Army, which has led me to my new home in Savannah! My passion for healthy eating and exercise correlate perfectly into the crossfit world where I can practice what I preach on a daily basis.  I am excited to introduce myself into the Steadfast family, and give back to the community that has given me so much.
